Spiegelreflexcamera voor 24 x 36 mm op 35 mm kleinbeeldfilm voor verwisselbaar objectief met P-draad. Voorzien van 2 aansluitingen voor flitskabel (FP en X). Afneembaar accessoire schoentje bovenop. Handmatig instelbare spleetsluiter met 10 sluitertijden van 1 sec - 1/500 + B, T. Hoewel het niet op de instelknop staat is er ook een stand voor 1/1000. Ontspanknop is geblokkeerd tegen dubbele opnamen. Rode indicatie voor gespannen sluiter bovenop. Afstandsinstelling variabel via draairing rondom lens van 45 cm tot oneindig. De lens is een verwisselbare Super Takumar 2/55 mm met P-draad. Scherpstelling met behulp van matglasbeeld zichtbaar in zoeker. Variabel irisdiafragma van 2 tot 16. Filmtransport via handel met opnameteller en automatische stop. Doorzichtzoeker op geprojecteerd matglasbeeld. Spiegel klapt op bij afdrukken en komt weer automatisch terug. Ring om de snelheid van de ingelegde film aan te geven. Geen stroomvoorziening aangezien de instelling volledig handmatig geschiedt.

Als extra kan de camera voorzien worden van een CdS belichtingsmeter die bovenop het zoekerhuis van de camera kan worden vastgeklikt met een mechanische koppeling met de instelknop voor de sluitertijden. Klik op Asahi Pentax SV linksboven die zo’n extra opzetmeter heeft.

Deze S1 is een eenvoudiger broertje van die SV zonder zelfontspanner en met een verborgen kortste sluitertijd van 1/1000. Compleet met zonnekap en originele tas

Single Lens Reflex camera for 24 x 36 mm on 35 mm film for interchangeable lenses with threaded mount. Provided with 2 connections for flash cord (FP and X). Detachable accessory shoe on top. Fabric focal plane shutter with 10 shutter speeds from 1 sec. - 1/500 + B, and T, to be set manually. Although it is not shown on the selector a speed of 1/1000 can be set. Release button is blocked against double exposures. Red indication when shutter is tensioned on top. Focusing variable via a distance control ring around the lens from 45cm to infinity; focus can be controlled on the image in the viewfinder. Variable iris diaphragm from 2 till 16. The lens is an interchangeable Super Takumar 2/55 mm with threaded mount. Film transport via advance lever with frame counter and automatic stop. See-through viewfinder on projected image of the exposure lens. Mirror flips up at shutter release and returns automatically. A ring around the film rewind lever can be set on the speed of the loaded film. No power supply as the settings on this camera are fully manual.

As an extra the camera can be provided with a CdS exposure meter that can be clicked on top of the viewfinder housing with a mechanical coupling with the shutter speed selector. Click on Asahi Pentax SV at top left to see that added exposure meter.

This S1 is a simplified SV without the self-timer en with a hidden shortest shutter speed of 1/1000. Including a sun shade and original bag.
