Dit is een camera voor 12 x 18 mm op 35 mm kleinbeeldfilm, zogenaamd
half kleinbeeld. Twee accessoireschoentjes, een met middencontact voor
flitser. De aparte vorm is nodig voor de cirkelvormige spleetsluiter, die
steeds met dezelfde snelheid rond draait, de variatie in sluitertijden wordt
geregeld door de breedte van de spleet. Er zijn 8 sluitertijden: 1/20, 1/30,
1/40, 1/60, 1/100, 1/200, 1/300, 1/1000 + B en T. Sluiter wordt tegelijk
gespannen met het filmtransport met een draaiknop. Voor het instellen van een
andere sluitertijd dient eerst de sluiter te worden gespannen. Afstandsinstelling
variabel van 1,6 feet (50 cm) tot oneindig. Variabel irisdiafragma,
instelbaar van 2,7 tot 22. Objectief ƒ 2.7 35 mm Universal Tricor. Het
objectief is uitschroefbaar en er waren andere lenzen verkrijgbaar voor deze
camera. Fimtransport via draaiknop met opnameteller (oplopend). Maximum
aantal opnamen is volgens de teller 65, terwijl er toch 72 opnamen op een
kleinbeeldfilm zouden moeten kunnen. Voorzien van memoschijf voor type film
en een uitgebreide rekenschijf voor de belichting achter op de camera. Op het
uitstekende deel van de roterende sluiter staan zowel voorop als achterop
scherptedieptetabellen. De afstandsinstelling zit vast. Voor WO 2 was deze camera al uitgebracht voor een speciale
filmcassette (de Mercury I); deze versie is geschikt gemaakt voor standaard
kleinbeeld film.

This is a camera for 12 x
18 mm on 35 mm film, so called half frame format. Provided with 2 accessory
shoes, of which one with central flash contact. The special look of this
camera was required for the rotating focal plane shutter, which always
travels with the same speed; the variations in shutter speeds is done via de
dimension of the slit. There are 8 shutterspeeds: 1/20, 1/30, 1/40, 1/60, 1/100,
1/200, 1/300, 1/1000 + B and T. The shutter is tensioned together with the
film transport with a rotating knob. Focusing variable from 1,6 feet (50 cm)
to infinity. Variable iris diaphragm, aperture setting from 2,7 to 22. Lens ƒ
2.7 35 mm Universal Tricor. The lens is interchangable and there were other lenses
available for this camera. Filmtransport via advance wheel with frame counter
(increasing). Maximum number of exposures according this frame counter is 65,
whereas 72 exposures on 35mm film in half frame are possible. Equiped with
memo disc for type of film and with an extensive exposure calculator at the
back of the camera. On the prominent part of the rotating shutter depth of
scale tables are shown on both the front and rear side. The focussing ring is
