Rechtsboven een aparaatje van Hama, de Hamafix 2,3 (made in Germany) voor 24 x 36 mm dia's, een hulpmiddel voor het inramen met inklapbare diaraampjes van Hama.

Onder ziet u 2 dia snijapparaatjes, links de Polaroid 35mm Slide Mounter, made in U.S.A. en rechts een snijappraat made by Hama Germany. Het Hama appraatje is gemaakt voor het snijden van platte stroken diafilm, zoals die door de ontwikkelcentrales altijd worden aangeleverd. Het Polaroid exemplaar trekt de film uit de cassette en is dan ook speciaal gemaakt voor de Polaroid "direkt klaar" diafilm, die rond 1985 werd uitgebracht en die niet in platte stroken uit een ontwikkelcentrale kwam, maar door het bijbehorende ontwikkelapparaat in de cassette werd teruggespoeld. Met de Mounter kan na het snijden ook direkt worden ingeraamd. Van het Polaroid apparaatje heb ik nog het kartonnen doosje; van het Hama apparaatje een gebruiksaanwijzing in 3 talen.

At the upper left side is a dust blower with brush to keep the slide as dustfree as possible during mounting, especially important when using glass mounts. It can also be used very well for cleaning of lenses and the like. Trade mark UN Blower Brush, made in Japan. Cardboard box and a very short instruxction leaflet are present.

Below you see 2 slide cutters, at the left the Polaroid 35mm Slide Mounter, made in U.S.A. and at the right a cutter made by Hama Germany. The Hama cutter is made for the cutting of flat strips of tranparancy film, as they were always delivered by the processing centers. The Polaroid mounter does pull the film out of the cassette and is specially made for the Polaroid instant transparancy film, that was introduced around 1985 and that did not come in flat strips from a processing center, but was rewinded through a development device into the film cassette. With the mounter you can mount the picture immediately after cutting. Of the Polaroid mounter I still own the cardboard box; of the Hama cutter the instruction leaflet in 3 languages.
